I've always journaled, and always wanted to keep the sort of journal you see
Kristin Scott Thomas keeping in "The English Patient"--back when people were
taught to draw as a routine part of education (well, okay, of a routine part of
middle and upper class education). So I started sketching. Good, bad,
indifferent; journals are one's own space. That's why I began bookbinding, to
make journals with paper I liked. None of that nasty lined stuff, thank you!
